1,000 Downloads!

Category : Programming · No Comments · by Apr 20th, 2012

So I went on App Hub this morning to check how Shear Carnage was doing on the Marketplace. For those who haven’t used the App Hub, it gives you download information with a 6 day delay. As of Saturday 14th April last week, 10 days after it’s release it broke the 1,000 download mark, and became #13 in top free shooters. I’m really proud that we have reached this milestone with our first game and just want to thank everyone who has downloaded it and helped in making it so popular.

We should hopefully be publishing a paid version of the game with a tonne of extra features including on-line high scores, further social integration and a partial design revamp in the near future. Android and iOS versions are also on the cards for Summer, which should give us some experience using different languages and development environments.
